FAQ

Children can usually begin at age 5 or 6, once they are ready to sit, follow instructions, and participate in group learning. Older children may also be accepted depending on their Islamic studies background and space availability.

We use the Safar Academy Curriculum, which covers Qur’ān recitation, tajwīd, Islamic studies, duʿās, sīrah, and Islamic manners (adab). This curriculum provides a clear, structured progression for students of all abilities.

We try our best to support all children. Please discuss your child’s needs with us at enrolment so we can assess how to help.

Our fees are kept as affordable as possible so that every family can access Islamic education. At the same time, providing a high standard of teaching requires good resources and fair wages for our staff. It is also important that Islamic education is valued and given its due importance. Many parents are willing to pay higher fees for school tuition or private tutoring, yet hesitate when it comes to Islamic learning — even though this knowledge is the foundation of a child’s faith, character, and future. Our fees help support a system that delivers quality teaching while remaining accessible to the whole community.
